So, a semi-auto just means does a shot fired with each pull of the trigger. It doesn't matter if it's a double action. A striker fire pistol it's just the way the mechanism works for shooting off around. Some Firearms have both double action and single action. That just means the first pull on the trigger is a long happy trigger while the pulls after that are shorter and r single action.
