Robert, Ring/base all in one.  A 3/8" dovetail rimfire scope base is machined into the receiver, which is also drilled and tapped for Weaver™ #12 bases. These scope mounts will attach directly to the receiver of the rifle. Nothing else needed but scope with 1" tube.
