Yes it will fit the rail on the ruger AR 8500 with no issues

Robert, Absolutely! I have this exact carry handle on my Ruger Model 8500. Only prob;em I have is adjustable rear sight has to be all the way to the left to line up with the A2 front sight to sight in.
