Jason, This is not a Sabot Slug. This Tru Ball is a rifled slug for smoothbore shotguns. Saboted slugs are shotgun projectiles smaller than the bore of the shotgun and supported by a plastic sabot. The sabot is traditionally designed to engage the rifling in a rifled shotgun barrel and impart a ballistic spin onto the projectile.

No this is just a standard "Rifled " slug
