Drew, Integrated magazine is top feed as the rounds stagger as they load. The bolt release on the bottom. The 4.4" screw spacing are for the newer rifles. The older rifles had a 4.27" screw spacing. Not knowing when this rifle was made I'm guessing 4.4" bolt screw spacing. Even if you call Savage at (800) 370-0708 don't know what they can tell you without serial number.
