Just received two T/C Dimensions Stock Receivers at my FFL. They arrived Very sticky to the touch. Can this be fixed or should I send them back. This is a discontinued item and really needed the receivers.

Just received two T/C Dimensions Stock Receivers at my FFL.  They arrived Very sticky to the touch.  Can this be fixed or should I send them back.  This is a discontinued item and really needed the receivers.

I would also give TC a call and see if they can give you any guidance as to why they are stick and how to clean them T/C Accessories

Robert, Sure it is some kind of preservative. They are discontinued. I would just clean them up and use them if I wanted a discontinued item. Try a little mineral spirits, denatured alcohol, or gun cleaner. Bet they clean up. Clean them up like you would a dirty gun.
