Raul, Think again. Same magazine but includes a drop in 9mm accessory barrel to expand the load options for every target shooter. so you can shoot .22 TCM and 9 mm from same gun with different drop in barrels.

Raul, Besides the 9 mm drop in barrel and 8 lb spring to shoot 9mm. RIA has developed the 22 TCM 9R that is shorter then the original 22 TCM so the round fits in the 9 mm/ 22TCM9R magazine. So just interchangeable barrels and recoil springs allow you to fire 22TCM9R and 9 mm rounds from this firearm..

this gun only shoots the 22tcm9r and the 9mm for some reason RIA decided to make the compact 22tcm9r/9mm instead of the 22tcm/9mm which would also be able to shoot 22tcm9r I would double check this with RIA as all of the other 1911s can shoot all 3 22tcm, 22tcm9r and 9mm Email: support@armscor.com Phone: (775) 537-1444 Fax: (775) 751-4425 My original can shoot all 3
