Since the stock can be partially removed does it then make it an SBR type situation? I understand it has an 18.5 inch barrel but still.

Rod, The SBR restrictions have to do with the length of the barrel not stock configuration. So since barrel exceeds 16" length no issues with specialized partitioned stock.

Rod, no SBR situation. This would be the case if the barrel were shorter than the current 18 inches.  [Under the National Firearms Act (NFA), it is illegal for a private citizen to possess a sawed-off modern smokeless powder shotgun (a shotgun with a barrel length shorter than 18 inches (46 cm) or a minimum overall length of 26 inches total]. Birds heads or braced firearms like the Shockwave or Tac-14 are classified as Firearms and not Shotguns.
