Need advice on compatibiity of Konus Konuspro 3-12x50 Zoom Rifle Scope with ruger american predator .308; rings required, suitability to make use of full .308 range, portability and shots in poor light. Interested in comments re' scope spec but not re' scope brand.

The Konus is a good scope for what it is. I have one on a 17 WSM rifle. For the range purpose of your question, I would recommend a different optic. Bushnell has a line of scopes called Engage. Look for one with exposed turrets. You can find one with about the same specs of the Konus. The Engage also has a 30mm tube. They are not much more than the Konus. Bushnell also has good customer service, if needed. The Engage has a better ranging reticle compared to the Konus. You'll be able to stretch out that .308 caliber.it was my pleasure to assist you.
