Does this AR have a full auto type bolt carrier so that it can be used with the new Fostech trigger control system? Thanks!

Barry, no Sir, the Ruger AR-556 comes with a semi-auto BCG and not a full auto spec BCG.

Ruger runs a proprietary bolt carrier (not full auto) and does not sell them to consumers so there is no liability due to head space problems from what I've been told. You can replace it with a full auto bolt group though. Any will fit.

Barry, Just pulled my Ruger AR 556 model 8500 bolt and it is a bolt with no cut out in the mass in the bolt. Do not know what other features would not make it full auto specs.
