Henry, It should be okay, but I do not see the model 27865 on BUDs CA compliant list. I see Model 27867 that is CA compliant.------https://www.budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/97066/moss+27867%2apatriot+20+308+y+scope+synthetic. The 27865 is same as 27867 so should be good to go in CA.
