I read online that there was a recall for these rifles that has something to do with the bolt. If I buy this will it have that issue would I have to send it back to Savage? Have the issue has been taken care of?

The recall notice it's kind of old news already. It's nothing to worry about anymore. If you buy a b mag it will come with no recall issue. Savage quickly corrected the issue. So to answer your other question, no you will not have to send it to Savage when you pick it up at your FFL.

Hi honey, I have a Savage muddy girl rifle and I remember seeing something about the recall notice. I did a little research and apparently it's been taken care of. : (859) 368-0371 thats BGS number in case you want to call.
