Those are kinda two different things. Shipping insurance says it covers damage, loss, or theft of the item while in transit. Warranty, whether the manufacturer's or Buds, covers damage/broken parts that cause the item to not function as intended. Warranty does not cover theft. Depending on where it was stolen from, the cost of it might be covered under your insurance. Homeowners insurance if stolen from your house, renters for you apartment, car insurance for vehicle, etc.
