Per Buds payment page "E-Check / ACH (3% Cash Discount when applicable, orders held for 5 business days to allow funds to clear our bank)" The main reason for paying that way is it still gets the cash discount. Most likely, the major companies that do ACH payments won't work with buds due to their product base, but Buds still wants to offer the option, so they went with one that will work with them, but does so a bit slower.

Kevin, it will clear your bank usually in a day, Buds says it takes up to 5 days to clear their bank which does not make sense. Maybe Buds Customer Service can shed some light on this policy at 1-859-368-0371 9am-9pm EST Mon-Fri. or use the Blue Chat now button at the bottom right corner 9am to 9pm Mon - Sat and 9am to 7pm Sunday.

Kevin, I can tell you from multiple experiences give it a week and don't worry about it. That is what it has taken for mine to clear dozens of times. Cash discount is worth the wait. I've used credit and gift cards along with e-checks. Lucky your not in a state that has a waiting period even after it gets to your FFL.
