John, This is called a compact, but I would advise shooting one. I have large hand and it is a reach to get the trigger finger out to the double action trigger position. It is a good 1/2" reach from double action to single action. The trigger is way out there for double action and almost against the trigger guard for single action. I would say there are many better size and ergonomic feeling compacts on the market for a shooter with small hands.
