Derek, Yes and it should be. Have a good holster that covers the trigger no problem. The trigger safety means you have to pull trigger for it to fire. The pistol will not go off by itself without pulling the trigger. Practice with an empty/cleared pistol with your holster taking it in and out. There is zero chance the gun will fire without trigger being pulled, but 100% chance you will regret not having one in the chamber if you must use your pistol.
