Michael, Do not know what state you are talking about, but there are no Caniks on the CA AGO;s approved list. If Canik is listed on your approved state site then this firearm is okay. It is a Canik TP-9SA. It is distributed by Century International Arms and may be branded as such, but it is a Canik.

I suggest that you check with a local FFL holder for the latest info on if it is legal in your state it is a Canik gun imported by century international arms (CIA) and can be listed both ways
