Josh, This Model 27890 rifle is set up for optics. If you do not want magnified optics/scope just put a red dot on front rail. Or just look at Model 27907 rifle. Same set up with rifle sights already installed. $100 difference in price is less then a gunsmith could put sights on Model 27890 for.
