Jordan, no Sir. This particular FNX Pistol will be fine. Just remember to give it a 200 or so break in period with Hollow Point Ammunition and then de comprehensive tests on the JHP's you intend to carry.
Jordan, You should have no problem with hollow point ammunition in a FNX 45 Tactical. Magazine designed and ramped barrel will work fine. It is well designed for defensive ammunition. Feeding hollow points in many standard 1911s is an issue. Browning's design did not take in consideration the use of hollow point ammunition. Hard nosed ball rounds was the ammunition of the day and that was what a 1911 was designed to function with.
no it is not amp picky and will be fine
230 grain hardball always works and is the best load we've found for all around self defense especially if you need to shoot through a windshield.
