Hi Bill, the 22Mag/17HMR magazines are the same magazine. The 17HMR is a 22Mag casing necked down to 17 caliber. Either caliber can be used with the same magazine. So you are good.

I'm not to educated with these, but the item page says 17hmr Only. So I'd be a little concerned and still seek out a Buds rep for assurance. 1-859-368-0371
