Darryl, try a field strip and clean/lube the slide guide channels and frame rails top and bottom. I would check/reposition the recoil spring as it is what actually pushes the slide forward into battery. If this does not yield results, that's as far as I would go and contact Sig Customer Service for a resolution at 603.610.3000 option 2 - Monday-Friday: 8:30am – 5pm EST
Darryl, I cannot see your firearm, but an issue has been bottom edge of striker plate on back of slide. Sig also had this issue with some other models. Bottom edge of rear striker plate on slide has sharp tab. If the modular trigger group is not pushed all the way in the edge catches on the small plastic part on back of trigger group. Disassemble and pull modular group out. reinstall making sure it is set in and back. Then try. May be able to push back of modular trigger group down without taking it out. Take a look and give it a try.
