I am in Shorewood , IL . The melt law prohibit heritage here because of the alloy frame. I need to know if heritage big bore guns are steel frame and if they can be shipped to FFL in Illinois for transfer . thanks ! Lionel

Should be good to go, no alloy parts in the Big Bore centerfire models, only steel frames. The prohibition on Heritage Arms is directed primarily at the Rough Rider rimfire models. Living in Shorewood means you should be exempt from all the additional Cook County/Aurora/Highland Park nonsense as well.
