Should be good to go, no alloy parts in the Big Bore centerfire models, only steel frames. The prohibition on Heritage Arms is directed primarily at the Rough Rider rimfire models. Living in Shorewood means you should be exempt from all the additional Cook County/Aurora/Highland Park nonsense as well.

Lionel, yes Sir, this Pistol has a Steel Frame in the Big Bore Calibers. This is good to go in Illinois. Cheers!

yes the big bore revolvers are a steel frame and are legal in states with melting laws
