Nic, Rifle comes with Savage magazine. And yes the AICS 10 round magazines fit and function well. I have 2 Savage and 2 AICs magazines with my Model 10/110.

Nic, this model does accept AICS Detachable Box Magazines.  This is the old Savage photo with the Savage Magazine in the photo. Savage has been shipping these with the Magpul AICS Magazine for the last couple of years now.
