Erick, yes Sir it does. The Custom II has an internal firing pin safety. This feature is designed to provide additional assurance that the gun will not fire if dropped, as the firing pin is blocked from striking the chambered cartridge unless the grip safety is depressed.

Kimber uses the Schwartz style safety, it's a little different than Colt 80 series firing pin safety.
