Matthew, it is just as smooth as the larger Bore siblings and is night and day smoother than the Heritage Pistols. Smoother, tighter tolerances gives it a much higher quality feel compared to the Heritage line.

Its a better built higher quality gun than the rough rider and its backed by Ruger is a single six no but it is a better choice than the RR
