James, If your rifle has one of the compatible buttstocks this extension will work. GL-Shock and GL-MAG buttstocks compatible. If not it would take some engineering to get it to work on other buttstocks.

James, this was designed for the Fab Defense GL-Shock or GL-MAG Buttstocks. I do not think it will fit the Ruger 338 Precision Buttstock but Mako Group Customer Service may be able to answer definitively at : https://www.themakogroup.com/contact-us.html
