With the baseplate shown in the picture it will not fit but as of 11-5-19 Sig has said that all the 12 round magazines will now ship with a second baseplate that would allow it to work with the XL. Whether or not this package is from before or after that date, I do not know but Buds' customer service may perhaps be able to answer that. If it doesn't include the baseplate you can buy them separately, they usually retail for $5 and it is part # 2700210-R
