Brad, yes they can be used. Bullet impact will not be far off a standard Government Model as it will be on the same sight plane on a shorter barrel.

Brad, No problem. These sights will work fine on a commander length slide. You will have to hold the front dot a little high, but you will figure it out and be spot on at the range.

You will have minimal adjustments to make. Just practice as not all sights are equal in height.
