Just unscrew it off. You might not want to shoot the shotgun without a choke. Some guns have fixed chokes integrated into the barrel. That is set permanently.

Johnny, it will take some effort to remove initially Sir. Once removed , I recommend just a dab of lube before you replace it so removal next time will not be as difficult.
