Well, this could be subjective, but Glock is way better. In my opinion it is not as good as a Glock. The Glock has proven itself with government agencies and civilians around the world. Is it a good alternative? I would say yes. If you can't afford a Glock then this is fine, in my opinion. The FMK has a funky feeling trigger. Now, if you plan to get this FMK and make a few upgrades I would say just save for a Glock. It was my pleasure to assist you.
Honey, hands down the Glock is the way to go. I have the black/pink FMK and I like it for what it is. But if you're on a budget then the FMK will work. It works. What more can you ask for from a lower priced gun?
Ruben, The FMK is not a Glock. It has some good reviews some not so good. Go to u-tube and put in FMK G9C and you'll see some of them. This Gen 2 is superior to the Gen 1. It's $300 for a reason. Hard to find parts, aftermarket trigger or sights, holsters and magazines.Veteran owned business out of CA. Rough trigger. May want to look at Taurus G2C for value gun that is very dependable----------https://www.budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/100792/taurus+g2c+9mm+32%22+12%2b1+black
Ruben, the FMK in my opinion has around 70% what the Glock brings to the table in terms of build quality, overall toughness and parts availability. It will work just fine for the average citizen. Someone like myself that goes through 25 to 30 thousand rounds a year, probably not. A comparable pistol to the Glock I would have you look at is the Canik : https://www.budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/415007212/canik+55+tp9sf+elite+one+series+9mm+419in+15rd
