Michael, Don't know where they came up with 7+1 in description, but this gun ships with a flush-fitting 5-round mag, and one 6-round mag with Mid-Mag X-Tension™. The "Gear Up" edition came with 4-6 round and 1-5 round magazines. Springfield says it comes with 1 five round, and 1 six round magazine. They also only sell 5 and six round magazines for it. Use chat for more.
