I see the manufacturer lists Century Arms. Is this a replica of the actual Canik or is it a misprint on the item? I know CA imports the Canik but not sure if they have made their own version here in the US and are trying to sell that as a Canik.

Ronald, This is a CanikTP9SF made by Canik. Canik is the trademark of pistols manufactured by Samsun Domestic Defense and Industry Corporation, a subsidiary of Aral Industry Corporation. The company was established in 1997 and is located in Samsun, Turkey. It is imported by Century Arms.

Canik is the manufacturer, a Turkish company. Due to America laws concerning the importation of firearms, companies such as Century Arms must import.

Ronald, this is a "misprint" Sir. Buds has inadvertently listed Century as the Manufacturer which is actually CANIK. Century is the Importer only. Cheers!
