I understand that this is 1911 style. Why do the specs show this regarding trigger pull: Trigger Pull: 8.8 - 12.1 lb. or 3.96 - 5.06 lb. Which is it?
Someone answered, but I'm not clear on what it meant. My 60 year old Colt 45 1911 has one trigger pull level. Once there is a round in the chamber and the hammer is cocked, it's the same trigger pull til the mag runs out. How is this gun different?

SA/DA operate so that the first trigger pull is heavier to prevent accidental discharges. Then for follow up shots the trigger loosens up a great deal. The heavier single action first pull acts as an added saftey feature.
