I'd like to put this on my 10.5" Ruger AR15 that has the M-Loc system. I was wondering how big of a rail segment Id need to get? Will a 3 slot work?

Robin a 3 slot Rail is just about perfect. Anything longer is just wasted space. Cheers!

Robin, Yes a 3 slot rail will work. All you need is one slot to attach this accessory.

Yes, it will work. I have a compact handgun with the same rail as yours but very short and it works just fine. It doesn't pop off, wiggle, or anything like that. It's a compact 40 S&W. It was my pleasure to assist you.
