James, Love this optic. Have it on a Sub 2000 using the MI pivoting optic mount. The outside diameter of the objective end is 1.5". Inch and a half diameter lens cover will work for you. One of the best features of this optic is Aimpoint mount system on optic after removing rail mount assembly.
