Yes, it has a short or "snub nose" barrel.

To me, this is a snub nose. Really, I don't think anything larger than 3 inches is snub nose. It was my pleasure to give you my opinion.

Steven, Call it what you may, but this revolver has a 2.5" barrel. Still plenty heavy. Short barrel, hefty revolver.
