I think they were having issues with selling the AR platform, since so many companies offer excellent rifles and parts at way cheaper prices. I think they are focusing more on handguns and getting contracted business, such as law enforcement agencies and military branches. The decision was market driven and they have to do what's best for the company. You can still support Colt if you want. That's your decision. They didn't go anti-gun. Colt is actually a small maker of ARs. Other companies are bigger in the AR business. It was my pleasure to assist you.
