Albert, it will depend entirely if it is a finish scratch only or a metal scratch. Buds grades their used firearms very conservatively so you should be good. It's a chance you take with any used firearm. New is not terribly much more $. Cheers!

You can always have a cleaned up and cerakoted. If the scratches are too deep maybe it won't be able to be fixed. A qualified and experienced gunsmith might be able to help you. It was my pleasure to assist you.
