Oh, that's a technical one. Some may kill a person with one shot while other will require more to drop or kill. Shot placement is a key factor. In most cases, people who are shot with a 22lr will not know it's a 22lr, unless they recognize the firearm used. I've read stories where people who were shot in the hand died due to being scared.
