Ronald, the MOD2 has a slight revision change over the previous model. These enhancements include a flat top slide for enhanced slight acquisition and a top slide mounted button for disassembly.

Ronald, No full size decocker on the Mod 2 TP9Sa to takedown without pulling trigger. Mod 2 has decocker/trigger release for takedown just on top left side. Mod 2 has standardized Canik sights. Mod 2 eliminated grooves on slide top. It is just cheaper to make then without having the glare reduction grooves that are on original. Same takedown method. Canik says trigger is improved on Mod 2. I can't tell the difference. Both pull right at 4 lbs.
