Randy. Yes 2 3/4" shells is the standard length for 28 ga shotguns. No problem with a 28 ga over/under firing 2 3/4" shells.

Randy, yes Sir you can. 2-3/4 shells are no issue in the Iver Johnson 600 OU since it has a 2-3/4" Chamber.
