Any reasons/advantages using 147 Gr instead of 124 NATO? Will heavy bullet make less recoil?

147 has a bit more recoil but not very noticeable. 124 grain it's kind of in between the 115 grain and 147 which is a pretty good medium. The 147 has a bit more stopping power because it's heavier but it's also slower that's just my two cents.
