Buds has said that they do not make any modifications to items before they are shipped including mounting optics, since they do not open items from the time they get them to when they are shipped. So you would have to have someone local to you mount it, if you are not comfortable doing it yourself. As for what optics, that really depends on what you want to do with it. For farmyard plinking a red dot should do the trick, competition shooting I would suggest a 1x6 or 1x8 zoom scope.
Gregory, Buds can recommend an optics but, they do not perform or offer any installation services at this time. Gregory, Gonna have to buy rifle and optic separate and install or have someone do it for you. Just put a nice red dot on this sporting rifle. Simple to mount and generally does the job.-----------Check out BUDs selections here--------------https://www.budsgunshop.com/search.php/type/Red+Dot++Holo/sort/best-selling
Mr. Gregory Bud's Gun Shop doesn't perform that type work. But they sell a lot of optics for this.
I would recommend going to your local gun shop as they will have Optics and prices for you.
