YU, If you are negligent on maintaining the firearm all will rust eventually. A blued finish rusts easier because it is made by rust. Parkerization is a chemical nitride or salt finish that is more durable. Keep a light, light film of gun oil on blued firearm you will have no problem. Dry off with oiled cloth after it gets damp.
