Mike, this Clipper will have issues with Braided Line Sir. This is for clipping line, mono and fluorocarbon and features integrated hook detangler, eye opener, wire wrapper and diamond grit hook sharpener.
I wouldn't recommend it for braided line, unless you take it to a cutlery shop to sharpen it. At that point, might as well nit buy these. I'd look for specific clippers. Large fishing shop companies will help this better. It was a pleasure.

You would think for the price it would be able to handle braided line. I'm not much of a fisherman Actually I don't even fish last time I faced was when I was a kid but my dad would just use a razor blade. Cost him $0.05. LOL.
They good but not for braid. 24 years of fishing experience.
