Ben, yes Sir this is safe in a lever rifle tube. This round has a specifically designed Soft/Flexible Tip that will not ignite the primer in the round in front of it. Cheers!

One of the animals. LOL. I guess it is a beast of a round by Hornady. This will be safe in a tube fed rifle, such as the one you mentioned. Rest assured that it is safe to do so. If anything, just be a little mire safer while loading them.

The soft tips keep the round from igniting the round in front of it. Keep in mind that Henry says there could be some feeding issues with this ammo. The tip makes the round a little longer. My Henry rifle (537 mag) does not like to eject an unfired round of it. It will eject with some extra effort, and this the ammo I use.

Ben, No issue with the soft point round. No chance of the soft point round setting off a primer in the tube magazine.

Ben, I have the Henry 357mag/38spl rifle and have used this ammo without any problem. You have to remember that it does take some amount of force to "punch" the primer hard enough to fire. When dropping a cartridge down the loading tube, it will "ride" or "scrape" the sides of tube as it goes down. You can hear it traveling down the tube and this sound is caused by friction between the cartridge and tube sides. Consequently, the cartridge cannot reach sufficient velocity to actually strike the tip of another cartridge in the and fire. That said, for safety sake always keep your face and fingers/hands away from the tube opening when loading regardless of what brand/type of ammo you are loading in a front loading tube type magazine.
