Yo brotha what up. Yo it depends on the ammo also man. Hot loads will cause quicker heat bro. The good thing is that its a bolt gun yo. Dont trip about it homie. The more rapidly shot the quicker it heats up.

Richard, this would be in the same boat as the 7.62x39 you asked about earlier. It would take a long run of back to back drills to over heat this medium barrel. Cheers!

Richard, This medium profile barrel will get hot, but can handle a string of about 20 shots. Take some time between magazines and you will not have any issue. You'll see when the barrel is getting too hot. You will start stringing shots up and down.
