Joshua, this 800 lumen light is effective out to 300 yards. I found I needed more lumens past 350 yards in my experience.

Joshua, The light will spot up to several hundred yards. As far or farther then you would shoot whatever firearm it is mounted on. Will give you extreme splash back indoors.
