I am curious how much this weighs? Heard that it is a lot heavier than the Rem 870 Wingmaster due to the thicker heavier barrel.

Jeffrey, the plastic furniture keeps the weight down to 7 1/2 lbs. With 9 round of buckshot in it the weight will be about 9 lbs. The pistol grip will help you hold on to it. Weight will help with recoil.
