Roger, Yes no problem shooting 38 special in a 357 mag chambered revolver. Exact size round just shorter.

yes 38 special can be fired in this 357 mag with no problems you should pay special attention when cleaning to prevent a carbon ring building up in the cylinder making it harder to chamber the longer 357 case.

38 special will be great for this gun. 357 has way more power and 38 special will have less retail and flash for betting handling and target aquesition.
